Attention Singers!

Vicki Shewey has been working on getting us an opportunity to be involved in the Sunday morning worship service at Merced First Baptist on Aug. 2, during our reunion weekend. She just found out that 'we're in'!

So now we need to get some ideas for what to do and how many people are interested in being involved in this mini-project. Obviously there would be no rehearsal possible until Saturday the 1st, so we'd have to learn whatever we decide upon on our own.

Please post a note if you're interested in singing.

And let's also float some ideas in this discussion about what to do. Something old? Something new? A combination? A hymn medley? Or a medley of some of the songs we used to sing at the Sunday night 'Sings'?

Facebook Group

In addition to this website, we also have a Facebook group going with nearly 40 people as members. There's some advantages to joining, as Facebook features real-time chatting and messaging, along with current pictures and updates on what everybody's up to. Here are instructions on how to join Facebook and how to find the group once you're there:

Once you have your account, or if you already have one, do a search on Facebook for 'Merced First Baptist Church - Youth of the '70s!' and that should put you on the group's webpage. You can join the group there to see what everyone's been up to.
